School Orbit, a product of ClickMaker IT Solutions LLP, is a digital platform that enables parents and guardians to pay school fees online. School Orbit acts solely as a technology and payment facilitator between parents and their respective schools. All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. This policy explains how our digital services are delivered to you.

1. Nature of Service

School Orbit provides a purely digital service. The platform facilitates online fee payments between parents and schools. Please note:

  • No physical goods are sold, shipped, or delivered by School Orbit.
  • The service provided is digital fee payment processing — parents can view fee details, make payments, and receive digital confirmations via the School Orbit app.
  • All transactions are processed electronically through Razorpay, a trusted and RBI-compliant payment gateway.

2. Payment Confirmation

Upon successful completion of a fee payment:

  • A payment confirmation is displayed instantly on your screen within the School Orbit app.
  • The transaction status is updated immediately in the app, reflecting the payment as successful.
  • A confirmation notification may also be sent via the app's notification system.

3. Receipt / Invoice

After a successful fee payment, a digital receipt or invoice is generated:

  • The digital receipt is available directly inside the School Orbit app under your payment history or fee section.
  • A copy of the receipt may also be sent to your registered email address, depending on the school's configuration.
  • Receipts include transaction ID, amount paid, date, payment method, and fee details for your records.

4. Fee Status Update

Once a fee payment is successfully processed:

  • The paid fee is automatically updated in the student's dashboard within the School Orbit app.
  • In rare cases, the fee status update may take a few seconds to a few minutes due to processing delays from the payment gateway or bank.
  • If the fee status does not update within 30 minutes, please contact School Orbit support.

5. Delays or Failed Transactions

While School Orbit strives for seamless payment processing, occasional delays or failures may occur:

  • Payment delays may arise due to issues with the bank, payment gateway (Razorpay), or network connectivity.
  • If a transaction fails but the amount is debited from your account, the amount will typically be automatically reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days as per standard banking timelines.
  • For duplicate or pending transactions, please contact School Orbit support with your transaction details for prompt resolution.

6. Role of School Orbit

It is important to understand the role of School Orbit in the fee payment process:

  • School Orbit provides only the technology and payment infrastructure to facilitate fee payments.
  • School Orbit does not control the fee structure, fee amounts, educational services, or any policies of the respective school.
  • The relationship for educational services and fee policies exists solely between the parent/guardian and the school.

7. No Physical Shipping

School Orbit is a digital platform. No physical products, goods, or materials are shipped or delivered to any user. All services — including fee payment processing, receipt generation, and fee status updates — are delivered entirely online through the School Orbit app and website.
