Subjects Setup

Step 5 — Add all subjects your school teaches. Subjects are needed for timetable, exams and report cards.

Subjects are linked to classes and exams. Make sure you add all subjects that your school teaches — you can always add more later.

How to Add Subjects

Go to Subjects Module

In the sidebar, click 'Subjects'. Then click 'Add New Subject'.

Enter Subject Name

Type the subject name. Example: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer, Physical Education.

Set Subject Type

Choose if the subject is Theory, Practical, or Both. This matters for exam marks entry.

Save & Continue

Click Save and add all your subjects. You can add optional subjects too like Music, Art, GK etc.
