Finance & Fees
Step 12 — Create fee groups, generate invoices for students, record payments, track income/expense and download account statements.
The Finance module handles everything related to money — student fees, school income, expenses and accounting. Perfect for schools that want to go paperless with fee management.
Fee Groups
Fee groups are like fee categories. Example: "Tuition Fee", "Transport Fee", "Lab Fee", "Annual Charges" etc.
Go to Fees → Fees Groups. Click 'Add New Group'.
Enter group name like 'Monthly Tuition Fee' and the amount (e.g. ₹2,000).
You can create different groups for different classes. Higher classes may have higher fees.
You can mark a group as Active or Inactive.
Fee Invoices
Generate fee invoices for students. Parents can see their pending fees on the app.
Go to Fees → Invoices. Click 'Create Invoice'.
Select the student and fee group. Set the due date and amount.
The invoice is created. Student and parent can see it on the mobile app.
You can download the invoice as PDF to print or share.
