When a parent pays fees, record the payment here. The system automatically updates the invoice status and generates a receipt. You can also accept partial payments!

Steps to Record Payment

Go to Finance → Fee Payments.

Search for the student by name, class, or admission number.

You will see all pending invoices for that student.

Click 'Pay' next to the invoice you want to record payment for.

Enter the Amount Paid (full or partial).

Select Payment Method — Cash, UPI, Cheque, Bank Transfer.

Enter Reference Number (for UPI/Cheque/Transfer).

Click 'Record Payment'. Receipt is generated automatically!

You can print or share the receipt via WhatsApp.

💡 Partial Payments

If a parent can't pay the full amount, you can accept partial payment. The invoice will show "Partially Paid" with the remaining balance. When they pay the rest, record another payment for the same invoice.
