Mark student and employee attendance directly from the School Orbit mobile app — fast, easy and on-the-go.
Teachers love this! They can mark attendance from their phone in the classroom itself. No need to go to the computer or fill paper registers. Takes just 1 minute per class.
How to Mark Attendance from App
Open the School Orbit app on your phone.
Login with your teacher credentials.
Tap on 'Attendance' from the home screen.
Select your Class and Section.
The student list appears — all marked Present by default.
Tap on absent students to change to Absent (A).
Tap Save. Done! Parents are notified automatically.
Quick Tap
Just tap the student name to toggle between Present and Absent. No forms to fill!
Permission Required: Only teachers with the "Attendance" permission in their role can mark attendance from the app. Make sure this is enabled in Roles & Permissions.
