Configure exam settings — which classes take which exams, grading system, pass marks and maximum marks.
Exam Setup connects your Exam Types to Classes. You decide which class takes which exam, what the max marks are, and what the passing marks are for each subject.
What You'll Configure
Exam → Class Link
Which classes are taking this exam? (e.g., Unit Test 1 → Class 1 to 12)
Max Marks
Maximum marks for each subject (e.g., Maths: 100, English: 100)
Pass Marks
Minimum marks to pass (e.g., 33 out of 100)
Grading System
A+, A, B+, B, C, D, Fail — with mark ranges
Steps
Go to Examination → Exam Setup.
Select the Exam Type (e.g., 'Half Yearly Exam').
Select the Class (e.g., 'Class 8').
For each subject, set: • Maximum Marks (e.g., 80) • Passing Marks (e.g., 27) • Theory/Practical split if applicable
Configure the Grading Scale if your school uses grades.
Click Save. The exam is now ready for scheduling!
