Grading System

Set up your school's grading system — letter grades, grade points, and pass/fail criteria.

You can use marks-only system, grades-only system, or both together! The system automatically calculates grades from marks based on your grading scale.

Grading Scales

CBSE 9-Point Scale

A1 (91-100) → Outstanding

A2 (81-90) → Excellent

B1 (71-80) → Very Good

B2 (61-70) → Good

C1 (51-60) → Average

C2 (41-50) → Below Average

D (33-40) → Needs Improvement

E (Below 33) → Fail

5-Point Scale (Primary)

A+ (90-100) → Excellent

A (75-89) → Very Good

B (60-74) → Good

C (45-59) → Satisfactory

D (Below 45) → Needs Improvement

Steps to Set Up Grading

Go to Examination → Grading / Exam Setup.

Click 'Create Grading Scale' or edit the existing one.

Enter the grade name (e.g., A1), minimum marks, maximum marks, and grade point.

Repeat for all grades in your scale.

Assign this grading scale to the relevant classes.

When marks are entered, grades are calculated automatically!
