App Troubleshooting

Common problems and solutions for the School Orbit mobile app. Fix login issues, notifications, loading problems.

Most app problems can be solved with these simple steps. Try them before contacting support.

Can't login / Wrong password

Make sure username and password are correct (no spaces, check caps lock).

Use the 'Forgot Password' option on the login screen to reset via email.

If account is deactivated, the school admin needs to reactivate it from the dashboard.

Not receiving notifications

Check phone Settings → Apps → School Orbit → Notifications → Turn ON.

Make sure 'Do Not Disturb' is OFF.

Check if battery saver is blocking the app.

On Xiaomi/Realme phones: Enable Auto-start for the app.

App is slow or not loading

Check your internet connection (try WhatsApp to test).

Close the app completely and open again.

Clear app cache: Settings → Apps → School Orbit → Clear Cache.

Update the app to the latest version from Play Store or App Store.

Homework / Marks not showing

Pull down to refresh the screen.

Check if the teacher has posted homework for your class.

Marks appear only after the teacher enters and saves them.

If still not showing, contact your school admin.

Notices not showing

Pull down to refresh the screen.

Check if the school has sent any notices to your account.

Make sure your role has the required notice permission (for teachers, check with admin).

If still not showing, contact your school admin.
